Angitia Earrings

Named after Angitia, a goddess among the Marsi and other people of central Italy. She was associated in antiquity with snake-charmers who claimed her as their ancestor. Angitia lived around the Fucine Lake area in Abruzzo, Italy and was known for her specialty in curing snakebites.
